I have many single friends who, like me, are into body modification - especially tattoos. I have just learned about a new social site where they can create profiles and meet other singles like them. I mean, there are so many dating sites out there catering to many different types of people. Why not a tattoo personals site?
Are tattoos your thing and you are interested in tattoo dating, have a look around Tattoolovers.com. Browse around through photos, see who is online and join for free. Once you have joined, start searching for your special someone who shares your love for body art.
I have had a terrible time with one of my webhosts for one of my domains. It is seriously driving me up a wall. If it isn't the site down due to maintenance (seems to happen a lot), it's a server problem and if it isn't a server problem, the password doesn't work. Apparently at some point on Thursday they transfered many of us to new servers but since then, I have been unable to log into my control panel or even my FTP. Thankfully I can still work with Wordpress, otherwise I would be up a creek without a paddle.. so to speak.
I was really hoping things would start to improve soon. Starting this past summer, it's just been one problem after another. I really need to go on and move this domain to my reseller account, which seems to be way more stable.
Do you like to play games? Do you run Mac OS X (Operating system for the Apple computers)? Great, I have a fun site where you can download shareware and freeware mac games - Download-mac-games.com. Whether you like sports, simulation, puzzle or even word games, they have a game for you. There are even games for the kids. Myself, I love word games so I could see myself enjoying many hours with some of the crossword puzzle game and I love music and consider myself fairly good with guessing songs, so the "name that tune" game would give me lots of entertainment too.
Have a look around and have fun!
We are considering having our cats flown to Newfoundland. We will be staying one night with some of Jo's relatives, two of which are allergic to cats. Plus we could use the extra space in the truck for hauling our things. The only thing is that I am not sure if this will be possible if we ourselves are not flying. If it is, then I am positive we can arrange for Jo's mom to pick them up at the airport once they arrive. Especially since we will not arrive for a few days after that. I am also concerned about how much this is going to cost if it is possible.
Time to start checking into this. We are getting down to the wire.
If you own your home, you probably know a thing or two about home owners insurance. Having house insurance is so important, especially in the event of something like a house fire or theft. Not only do you want to insure the structure though, you also want to make sure you insure it's contents, your valuables. With CIS, you can get one policy that has four cover options; buildings, contents and possessions, travel and caravan. For your convenience, you can mix and match your requirements. There are many benefits to this; rebuilding costs for up to £500,000, 7.5% discount if and when you bring buildings and contents together, paying monthly by direct debit or annually by debit or credit card - and that is just naming a few.
For more information on house insurance or to obtain a quote, visit Cis.co.uk.

Today is going to be such a long day. We are having some trouble with our online banking, so we will be stopping by our bank later on (or calling). Plus we have so many things to get accomplished today. We will be cleaning this place from top to bottom, finishing that last bit of packing, searching for some kind of roof storage/moving equipment to double our available space and be able to move everything we want without having to ship stuff ahead of time. I also need to pick up a few things from Wal-mart; shampoo, conditioner, soap, snacks for our trip, bottled water and gatorade for our trip.. and the like.
Like I said. It is going to be a long day. I want to treat Jo to a movie tonight - Good luck Chuck - but I have no idea if there will even be time for that.
I have been thinking about getting a credit card lately. Mostly for emergency situations but also because I really need a new camera and this would likely be the easiest route to go in regards to "borrowing". The last time I applied for a credit card, I did some research to make sure I was getting the best rate and the right card to benefit my own needs - no really high limits because honestly, I would not trust myself enough with anything over maybe $1500-2000.
The Co-operative bank offers several different types of cards; Clear credit card, advantage cards, flat rate platinum and travel credit card, to name a few. You may qualify for one of their credit cards that offers 0% interest on purchases and any balance transfers for six months or even a credit card that my earn money for any chosen organization as you spend. With such a variety, you are bound to find a card that suits your personal needs.
Well, in a few more days we will be heading out for Newfoundland. By late next week I will be writing here from there. I cannot wait, though I am a little nervous about the trip and the ferry ride. Hopefully things go as planned.
We will be staying with some of my husband's relatives on our second night. I have never met any of them before, so it should be fun, interesting and nerve wracking, huh? I am pretty excited about it, so I am trying not to think about my nervousness too much.
I have been trying to come up with some ideas as to what I want on the walls throughout our new place (which we plan to buy sometime next year). One thing I would love to do in our computer room is have vibrant artwork on the walls. I am hoping to have cobalt blue walls, so vibrant artwork is going to work great in there.
I really love the pieces by Jean-Claude Picot at the Park West Art Gallery. They are so colorful and the colors are so vibrant, which I want for my own home. My favorite pieces is a still life piece called Le Vase Bleu de Madrid. I could even see this in my living room. It is a really fun piece. I also adore Floral Arch I by Natalie Levine. It reminds me of the archway leading up to my great grandmothers old house.
The Park West Art Gallery features the largest collection of fine arts, in the world. They even conduct fine art auctions around the USA and even Canada. If you haven't already, have a look around!
Today was a really hard day. Most of you already know about my grandmother's deteriorating health. Well, I called to see how she and my mom, who has been sick with a stomach bug, were doing. My mom was actually doing a lot better today but after she and I talked for a few minutes, she handed the phone to my grandmother. I was a little surprised that my grandmother knew who I was at first but within a couple of minutes, that all changed. She started talking all kinds of crazy (she has Alzheimer's by the way). I know this is normal with her illness but it is so heartbreaking to hear someone whom you love dearly, talk like that. She is smart as a pistol, or used to be. Now she is bedridden and barely knows who anyone is anymore, including herself. She was telling me that I was cursing and yelling when I had barely said two sentences to her. After I said "Who's yelling and cursing?", she told me "You are and I don't like it. I am putting you in a corner.." My mom got tickled about it but I really think she wants to break down and cry. I know I would if it were her, my mother.
It just seems like it gets harder and harder. I know she is dying. I know she will not be with me forever but that does not seem to make me want to accept it any faster.
My mom is putting up Christmas decorations, including the tree, this weekend so that my grandmother will have a chance to enjoy them. I asked why so early and my mom told me it was because they did not expect my grandmother to make it all the way through Christmas. I will definitely be going home for a visit soon. I will never forgive myself if she passes away before I get back.
